Images of North Korea

Chuck Kraus at the Foreign Devil blog has posted a great collection of images from North Korea in the late 1940s and during the Korean War. He also includes pictures of an independence day rally in North Hamgyong province on August 15, 1946. The images are part of the collection at the Enemy Captured Document files (Record Group 242) at the US National Archives in College Park, Maryland, but there aren’t just links; these images are only available to researchers at the archives.
